[edit] How do I unsubscribe from a WEFT mailing list?
You can unsubscribe by going to the list's info page. For WEFTa, go to:

Scroll to the bottom of the page. On the last text entry, drop in your email address and press "Unsubscribe or edit options".
You'll need to log in, and you probably don't know the password. That's okay! The last button the next page is for the password reminder. Click on that and wait for the email that it sends you. You can use that password in the first text entry field on the same page.
Once you've logged in, there are two things you can do. One, completely unsubscribe. There's an area just under a page down the screen entitled "Unsubscribing from WEFTa" -- click the button there. Done!

It is possible to 'disable' delivery for a period of time without unsubscribing. For WEFTa, go to:

Once logged in, one of the options is to scroll down to the area entitled "Your WEFTa Subscription Options". The very first option there (text in the grey background) is for Mail Delivery. Set the radio button to "Disabled", then jump to the very end of the page and click "Submit My Changes". Done!
[edit] I want to check the list archives. How do I get a password to do this?
When you first subscribed to the list you may have gotten a password sent you. If you didn't save that message, it's ok! Just go to the bottom of the list info page (example: WEFTa Info Page) and request that a password be sent to you automatically by entering the email address with which you are subscribed.
[edit] How do I avoid "Message has implicit destination" errors?
This problem comes up when a message you send gets forwarded to the mailing list. The most common cause is that you're sending your mail to listname@weftfm.org. Try sending it directly to listname@weft.org, and note that the weftfm.org domain name is being phased out. You may also have a hyphen (-) in the list name; make sure you're sending to wefta@weft.org, not weft-a@weft.org.
