Uncle John’s intent is to present an anthology of rural music dating from the first recordings of actual country performers in 1922 up through the 1970’s. The program is divided into three segments.
The Early Years; 1922 – 1938 from 5 to 6 PM;
The Nashville Years; 1939 – 1979 from 6 to 7 PM; and
Contemporary Bluegrass from it’s beginnings from 7 to 8 PM.
